highlights:
There wasn’t really a “highlight” for this past weekend. The only word that most accurately describes it is “unforgettable.” It was my last Sunday as the Music & Worship Arts Director at Emmanuel Faith Community Church, aka the Resonate Worship Leader. Emmanuel Faith has been much more than my place of employment. The people who work and attend there are truly family to me. I’ve attended the church ever since grade school so walking around the campus felt/feels like walking through the family living room. It will be strange to not see those familiar faces on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. I do look forward to where God has called my wife and I next. I’m joining the staff of Seacoast Community Church as the Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts. It will be different, but good nevertheless. I’m excited to see how God uses and grows me there. The people of Emmanuel Faith have been very supportive through this transition. On my last Sunday, we shared some tears, hugged a ton and most importantly belted our hearts out in song to our God who has been, is and will always be faithful to us. It was unforgettable. I know that God will continue guiding Emmanuel Faith and I as we seek to further His kingdom. We may not be in same area, but we are always on the same team. 🙂
