highlights:
We all belted out verse 3 of How Deep The Father’s Love this past weekend. The lyrics reminded us that Jesus is our only boast. No amount of good words or deeds could ever make us right in the sight of God; only Jesus. That is why He is our boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). In Him, we stand as sons and daughters before God instead of strangers and aliens (Ephesians 2:19-22). Introducing There Is Hope to everyone was really special too. It’s the next song that the band and I are releasing. Since the recording is still in post-production, we taught the song acoustically. Doing so allowed the congregants to connect more with the lyrics without the “distraction” of a full band. I’m excited to continue singing it with everyone.
